Here's some recent paintings that I worked on for a week. They're unfinished, still in conceptual stages. Visualizing an imaginary place and mood, creating the landscape as I go, experimenting with color, composition, and method. Influenced by the impression - expression of the plein air art movement, these paintings are examples of a new direction in my work that I'm beginning to explore.
