"Hanaside"

I painted this in the early 90's, from an image in my mind of when I lived on Maui, back in the early 70's.
I stayed with friends in a homemade glass windowpane house, up on a beautiful green pasture. near Hana's Seven Pools. with guavas and cows, for a week.
We picked dew covered magic mushrooms that grew in cowpies, metallic gold and silver on top and dark underneath, at sunrise. I watched living rocks breathing life, as well as everything else. I vaguely remember everything as having its own life energy force, and consciousness, while experiencing Hana's 'magic mushrooms'.
We lived naked, we talked without words, while being with the rainbows. I don't remember anything of what I did for that week, now a blurred dream, hidden somewhere in my mind.
